Added. It lags a bit for me, so not sure how much I'll end up playing it.

gfx at ultimate runs smooth indoors (60fps+), ok outdoors (30fps+).

Going to attempt finding an exact model match for my gtx480 for SLI to improve on that.

I gave up. the server browser sucks donkey balls. Even if i can get it to a server it doesn't last long
i'm on there as smokinxp since it would let me chose my own ID

so far i'm not impressed. the graphics are nice thats about it.
seems like Modern Warfare all over again.

Retarded browser, login issues to name a few things

i actually like the browser idea, loads fast etc...yeah shit atm cause there are next to no servers and they are all full lol, wait until the release.

Agree on the cod thing, i don't know if its a bad thing for the type of map it is, but agree, should have used Caspian as the beta map. If you want to get an idea for what the full version will look like.....

excellent review and game play here (trust me its worth watching, the guy is a crack up)

wasn't reffering to the map as COD i mean the debacle that was Modern Warfare's server browser and EA login
and there is heaps of servers. last time i looked there was atleast 30 Oceanic ones alone. Couldn't connect to any though, either the browser was always out of touch with the coming and goings of people on the servers or would just get time out style errors.

I hate the origin thing with a passion I feel like I need to run 3 programs just to play.....
1) origin
2) web browser
3) finally BF3 it's self

what a convoluted and bloated waste of time.

that said I enjoy he actual game!

found this on the internet.

Battlefield 3 Planning To Have Full Joystick Support

Flying with joysticks in previous Battlefield titles on the PC platform, have been popular among users who are uncapable of flying with a mouse and keyboard. Battlefield 2 allowed joystick controls to be fully customizable: Certain buttons to fire missles, bullets, certain tweaks to the joystick to roll and maneuver as well. Battlefield 3 fans have now learned, via Tweet, by Alan Kertz, Senior Gameplay Designer, that DICE plans to "fully support joysticks". Take a look at the in-depth customization of flying aircrafts and helicopters below.

Yeah, something I heard is that you don't get multiple soldiers. Just one per origin account or per console. You can apparently have a BF3 account with 3 characters, one for PC, one PS3 and one xbox.

Also, your soldier name will always be your origin ID. Which can be changed unofficially I heard but that's all I know.

Howdy folks, long time no see,

how are you finding BF3? I'm only running a midspec PC but find the game fantastic visually. The server browser seems a little clunky but does the job....eventually.

I feel that dice have lost something in the new squad interface and spawning setup largely because objectives are so poorly defined now.

Anyone else playing much? What time are you getting on?
